The Considerate Constructors Scheme offers three films which help to explain what the Scheme does, and to provide support to those who are registered and to those that may be affected by a registered site.

The 'Introductory film' explains why the Scheme was set up and what it means when construction sites are registered. The core principles of the Scheme are discussed, as well as how the registered sites are monitored against the Site Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage working practices which are beyond statutory requirements. The film goes on to explain how the Scheme uses reward to encourage exceptional levels of consideration through the annual National Site Awards, where the most considerate sites are recognised for their achievements.

The film called 'Affected by Works' is aimed at members of the public who live or work near a registered construction site and wish to learn more about what being registered with the Scheme entails. It highlights how a member of the public can get in touch with the site contact directly to discuss any queries or alternatively, how to contact the Scheme who can pass on comments to the registered site.

The third film the Scheme currently offers is titled 'A Film for Site Managers' and provides essential information on what is required from a registered site and how they can prepare for the Monitor visits. The film discusses what the Monitor looks for when he or she visits a site and materials which are available from the Scheme to assist sites in their registration, such as the Examples of Good Practice brochure.

The three films are centred on Site Registration as at the time of production, Company Registration hadn't been launched. The Scheme's core values apply to both Site and Company Registration, so the three films can be watched for a general overview of the Scheme and how the monitoring process works.
